Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is Conducted by UP Government. The Responsibility of Organize UPTET is UP Basic Education Board.
Any Candidate Who Want to become a Teacher in Uttar Pradesh State Primary Schools, Junior High Schools, Inter Colleges etc. is Necessary to Qualify UPTET Exam. With out TET Score Card B.Ed, BTC, Special BTC Candidates Can’t Apply for any Teachers Job.
UP TET 2017 Eligibility/ Essential Qualification
For Primary Level teacher: The Candidates must have Graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks with 2 years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary education OR BTC (Urdu) 2 Year Course OR Intermediate with 04 Year B.El.Ed Course.
For Upper Primary Level Teacher: The Candidates Should have Graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks with OR B.Ed in Pedagogy BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in BTC OR Intermediate with 04 Year B.El.Ed Course.

UPTET 2017 Exam Pattern : Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2017) exam comprises of multiple choice type of questions (MCQs). There will be two papers that will be held in two shifts:
- Paper I (Primary Level) : One who aims to be a teacher for I to Vth Class.
- Paper II (Upper Primary Level) : One who aims to be a teacher for VI to VIII Class.
Application Fees : The Application Fee will be Payable by the Applicants who wants to Apply. The Following Fee will be Payable by Candidates-
For candidate Belong SC/ ST Category: Rs.200/- and,
For Other Category/ Un Reserved Candidates : Rs. 400/-
Selection Procedure/ Score Card : The Selection will be Based on Written Exam. Those Candidates Who Qualify the UPTET Exam, Board will Provide Score Card/ Rank Card and Mention Their Marks (Obtained by Candidates) in Score Card. Score Card will be Valid Till NEXT UPTET EXAM
HOW TO APPLY : Interested and Eligible Candidates Who Wants to Apply for UPTET 2017, may Apply Online from the official website of UP Basic Education Board. The Board will Provide a website from where all candidates may Apply ONLINE from 25 August to 08 September, 2017. Only Online Application will be Accepted.
